The TRB operates the Pesticide Approval Scheme Service (PASS) to ensure Good Agricultural Practices throughout the tobacco production value-chain and in compliance with the Tobacco Marketing and Levy Act. PASS is an objective, impartial, transparent and internationally -acceptable screening and countenancing system to facilitate trade in agrochemicals while ensuring good agricultural practices. PASS uses approved agrochemical information from such bodies as CORESTA and EU.
